    FS: 1986 BMW 325e sedan 24v swap - Maryland

    Asking $5000 obo

1986 E30 325e sedan 24V swap. Clean title, no accidents. Around 285k on chassis, 120k on drivetrain. A little rust on bottom of front quarter panels. Seats & carpet not in the best shape, but overall not terrible for a 35 year old car I think. Runs and drives solid. Steering and suspension SUPER tight handles very well. I put tons of time and effort rebuilding this car over the 5 years I’ve owned it. I went through most of the mechanical parts on the car. I just don’t have the passion or the funds to spend on it anymore.

There are some issues, as to be expected on a car this age

    • Hood latch not working, have to use screw driver method

    • Minor rust on bottom of front quarter panels

    • Small leak from oil pan & dipstick.

    • Coolant leak only when fully warm (from a line or fitting, not radiator)

    • Rough idle when cold, have new CPS not installed

    • Wipers work *sometimes* I believe it’s the switch in the steering column

    • ABS not functional, at least one wheel speed sensor is bad, never did troubleshooting

    • Drivers door lock cylinder needs rebuilt.
