OBC to cauge

I looked around but didn't find what I was looking for.

My OBC display is broken and I need to put an oil gauge somewhere. I've heard about people putting a VDO gauge in that spot so I'm looking for what's needed to do that. Is anyone selling bezels for this kind of thing or is it pretty much a home brew thing all the way?

Any advice, pointers or links greatly appreciated.

$40???? Someone else sells one for like $4. Google for e30 OBC gauge plate.
