                    If you only have 5K and a 6sp your options are quite limited. I'd just do supporting mods and turbo your existing motor. Otherwise there's no other way you're going to get big power within your budget.

                    LSjuan, way more than 5K
                    Ford 5L, could be done poorly for 5K
                    m62, 5k but not "super mega ultra fast"
                    turbo s52, way more than 5k
                    s62, way more than 5k
                    s54, way more than 5k
                    s38, way more than 5k

                    Hypothetical "what should I swap in" threads never end well, I'm surprised this one has been relatively normal so far.

                    Use your car as an M50 donor for a '93 econoline or something. Nothing cooler than a fuggin M50 econoline
