    Tranny Noise

Every time I depress the clutch there is a click, like it sounds like it is clicking to engage.

Then when I drive it for a while, stop go traffic, high speeds....and I let it sit when I get back I hear rather loud clunking from under the car (the tranny). It always makes a clicking noise but when I let it sit after driving it is noticeably louder. BTW...previous idiot/owner replaced tranny, who knows how that went. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thats my first guess, the Release Bearing...

Maybe linkage and I'm an idiot, maybe I shouldnt second guess myself.

Do you have a stock clutch? That happens to mine too, but I have a centerforce. It has done that since the day I put it in (and YES I did it right. Just remember to not push in on the clutch pedal unless you are shifting. Throwout bearings are the weak point. And I had a buddy that bought a truck with a new tranny. It blew up 2 weeks later because the F'er didn't put ANY fluid in it. Did you check yours?
