    diff swap

will a small case diff from a late 318 bolt up without modification?
i know a big case will bolt up, but i dont wanna have to mess with modifying things.
also is a 4.10 too extreme for an early 318? if so what ratio would be better?
im not sure what is stock but i think its in the neiborhood of 3.5

    I'm 99% it'll bolt up.

    You'll be fine with a 4.10.

Personally, I would hold out for an LS unit.

the tag should read "S 4.10" right?

and if it's clean, you'll see a rectangle paint stamp with a bigass S inside, this is directly on top of the diff
