quick help m10 troubles

hey guys in need of a quick answer
i have a 86 318i m10 will rev to 3k then just sudden loss of power almost like im bouncing of the rev limiter it jurks back and forth and shudders
any hinesight on this question would be muchly appreciated

how does the cap/rotor look?

its pretty new like there not notched bad or burntout or anything

How are the spark plugs though, If there fouled they could do that. If they check out fine I would look at your timing and make sure that is where it needs to be. Since that is most likely going to be culprit here.
