Made my clutch stop today, bought both the 30mm and 40mm bolt. Used the 40mm.
Feels nice, I no longer push the clutch in an unecessary 1-2 inches. Makes the clutch even easier to modulate.

This should be done on all e30s, go to home depot now! if you don't already have one.

I wanted to know what you guys used, the post earlier didn't seem like a complete list.
With just that stuff, it won't have a rubber stop on it.

Why do I sense a condecending attitude in almost every post from you?
YOU SENSE IT BECAUSE ITS THERE. You need one 10mm bolt, two nuts, a rubber boot that fits over the head of the bolt, a wrench, and about 2 minutes.

I know where there is a writup, but the page isn't opening right now.
If you go to www.bimmerdiy.com/e30 there will be a link to a writeup for a clutch stop.

I like it without the rubber stopper better- I like the clicking noise it makes whenever I press the clutch, btw, this is a really cool mod for really cheap that makes the car that much better to drive.

The first mod I ever made to the E30 was this one. Home Depot, which I used a bolt that doesn't have the right thread pattern.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

That's exactly what I did. If you really need one as big as the original post showed you have some serious issues somewhere in your clutch pedal. Fix it instead of just getting a huge stop that your sloppy as hell pedal won't miss.
