LSD, timing belt, shocks, clutch, etc? What is the maintenance history look like? What specific parts would you remove before a bone stock sale? I have been without my 88 325is for about 3 years now, need to get back into an E30 before I can be happy.

Is the valence a little crunched up on the drivers side just under the air duct, or is something just being reflected and playing with my eyes?
Also, is the front lift point of the engine a little bent or, again, is it eye/camera lens trickery?

I photo'd the car in its entirety.. good bad or ugly.. dash cracks, the split in the seats.. Why didn't you point that out? Guys like you crack me up..

I see that if I buy this car, I have to replace:
The dash
Possibly the motor mounts (I've seen the same rubs on the manifold on the woman's E30, and it was attributed to the motor mount being separated on the drivers side)
The passenger seat lower left bolster skin

I also see there are no notes of maintenance on it, only that the engine was at one time replaced without mentioning when.

I also see that if I were to buy this car, I'd be spending $100 dollars off the get-go to do a timing belt replacement before I drive it home, because I have no idea when it was done last.

The only reason I'm saying this though, instead of just crossing this off of a list of potentials, is to see if you'll answer what I asked.

If this is truly on your list of potentials, I think you would have PM'd me to be honest but in all reality I don't think this car fits the budget you set for yourself which is in all fairness probably for the better.. I hope you find your $2000 car because they are out there but they don't look like this.
