    Broken rear sub-frame bushings DIY

looked around last night and couldn't find a way to remove the broken pieces of the sub-frame bushings everyone said cut it out or pound it from the top , but this was in my cabrio and you cannot pound it from up top due to it being behind the firewall , so here are some pics of what i ended up doing and it worked like a charm ,

grabbed a big bolt that could thread into the aluminum

than threaded it by hand a bit than used this sucker and pushed up against it and it went right in

got a 1" open wrench anything that was thick enough and fit over the broken piece

    used alot of this

than got a nut threaded it in put a washer so it would squeez tight and put the 1" open wrench over the broken parts and threaded the bolt in with the gun than i started to undo the bolt so it puts pressure onto the broken piece and basically pull it out took me about 5 min on each side to pull them out
