I was wondering what happened to that car. I was thinking of buying it if it was around in December. Good work!

Love it, that color is great. I am glad you picked this up as it was seriously tempting me. Hope the PO cut you a deal based on how disassembled the car was...although it seemed like a solid starting point...like a puzzle :D

Yes, I remember seeing this car in an ad on Craig's several months ago when I was in Raleigh Durham. You are a better man than I am. I do love the color.

Current one does, this one does too according to the seller *fingers crossed*

                              spent all day wet sanding:

Went to mom's house last night... saw that the "type R" wheelbarrow from ~1998 is still kicking (yup that is my handy work) :)

and back to the paint work on the e30:

taped up, dust wiped off & floors cleaned

                                mixing up the paint

                                david shooting some trial sprays:

                                rock & roll:

base coat is down (2x) but our ventilation system isn't working all that great:

                                ugh

                                mixing clear

                                and the result:

there is orange peel and minor debris in the paint that we will address in one week with a color sand & buff. overall the color laid down very nicely! I'm excited to see her outside after the final polish :)
