I guess you could say that its the same with the 911 market right now too. Lots of people buying them because they see RWB builds online and know nothing about the cars themselves.

I've even noticed hypebeasts and sneakerheads getting into the car game because they see one RWB build with a Supreme sticker on it and all of sudden they need one.

I wouldn't be surprised if the E30 M3 market cools down eventually. At least thats what I keep telling myself I hope happens...

BAT didn't create this phenom, but it's certainly helping it happen at a quicker pace.

They did it with the M3, and then the 318is, and now they seem to have their sights on the E28's.

He's owned the car for nearly 10 years and with a host of shops that have done work for him, it certainly adds up.

Its a well sorted E30 driver that the next owner can make a few changes to make it their own. I dont expect this to be one for sale in a year with less than 500 miles added since the BaT purchase

..and then from the "why?" category:

                    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2001-bmw-740il-5/

Seems like a waste of an S62. Anything else would have been better (E30/E28/E34/E36/E9...etc.)

Full size power. I dig it. Here is a really nice SWB with a blown S62.

I'd say putting an s62 in an e36 is more of a waste

but, its hard to be impartial, because I'm no fan of the e36

                              You driven an E36 M3?

I will admit they are dumpy little fucks, always breaking and being pains in the asses, but man oh man do they seize my heart with the way they drive.

They do drive well and the chassis is very capable. I have never driven an m3! Maybe a little more power and better suspension would win me over.
