Hello Again:
I haven't been around for a long time, I own an E30 and I bought a 735i with an M30 engine, to make a long story short, it got stolen, and found. When found the morons had cut off the wire harness that connects the on board computer, (the one beside the radio that shows mileage and other things). I am posting here (swaps) because I assume that someone here might know either of a wiring diagram to reconnect it (I bought another one with the plug and the piece of wiring that goes with it), or a way to bypass or bridge something to make the car start, since it seems that the ignition control or the fuel control (or both) goes through that "computer".
I assumed that someone who has swapped one of these engines might have some advice on how to fix this. Any idea, however farfetched will help.
I do have the wiring diagram for the car but my skills are not good in that area and I can't make heads or tails with it.
P.S. A mechanic has the car and he is totally lost.
