They're very simple. Not a lot to go wrong on them. And an absolute hoot to drive, totally amazing.
    Just have patience.

I've only seen 2-3 episodes of that show...this build is nothing like that....well other then the British humor, and low production values.

hence the more in depth comment ;)

these guys make wheeler dealers look like sesame street, or something, but the british humor always gets me, explains why im such a fan of these two and uk top gear

                    Not in as much detail.

There is another build I've been following that's has the same level of detail...but it's of a rather large homemade boat. I don't know how most boats are built (steal boats, not fiberglass), You basically get steal plate - as thick as you would normally use on a boat, and then lay it out flat. Cut it to shape - and then fold it up.

Imagine doing it with paper, except your paper is 3/8" steel plate. Use overhead cranes and large winches to form it into shape as weld it as the seams meet up.

Will have to watch it when there's more time.

Friend of mine at Emerald Performance here in FL just did a turbo kit for an AWD mini, but they used a Honda CRV drive-train. Had trick suspension, all formed from tubular chomeoly. Can see some of it on his FB page...

I stumbled across this on youtube and was seriously impressed with how easy they make it look, plus their sense of humor. Funny that it popped up on r3v too.
