    *Picture Heavy* 1993 BMW 325i Convertible E30 - 71k Miles - Air Bagged - $8000

I am looking to buy a house so it is time for me to part ways with the e30. I drive this car every weekend May-October and it runs beautifully. I have turned my attention to another project and with moving/buying a house this car does not and will not get the attention it deserves. Most recently serviced by DTM autowerks in Milford who I would be glad to have the car checked out by. I have about $13k invested in the car and you cannot build an e30 to this level for anywhere near my asking price. I expect to take a loss (my asking price shows that) and I am motivated to sell but please consider what I have into the vehicle, both time and money.

    Asking price is $8,000.
Please Call/Text if interested (661-839-6685) - I do not visit the forums often these days.

    Location: Milford, NH

I will clean & buff/wax the car this weekend and get some fresh photos.

Issues: (I will be addressing them if/when I have time)

I think the front right strut mount bearing is going out (started making noise so I packed some grease into the bearing - no noise atm)
There is a small dent (quarter size) in the front left fender
Two small rust issues are starting which should be addressed before they become actual problems:
    - One is by the passenger door key lock
    - The other is by the battery box (this was stripped down to bare metal and coated to stop any further issue)
The paint shows it’s age but cleans up well with buffing/waxing.
Front bags leak out over about a 24hr period - I have since re-ran all of the hoses, checked all connections to bags, leader hoses, and push connects. It appears this is coming from some of the 90 degree push connects, which I will be replacing.

    Momo?

You should consider posting current pictures of the car.

That's a momo fighter steering wheel not Nardi and the BMW wood shift knob is clearly a zhp.

              Is the title clean?

Given the year and the mileage, I would stick this car on BAT immediately. I really cant imagine not selling for your asking price.

NH doesn't issue titles for vehicles over 15yrs old but I still have the previous title, which is clean. It is a little odd though because the car was impounded, re-vin'd and sold by the state of NY in 1994 so the VIN number is "NY49322".

The previous owner, who's family owned the car from 1995 until 2015 (when I bought it), told me that the car was seized at the border for smuggling diamonds to/from Canada.

                  Interesting story

Last vert (1987 IC?) on BAT hit $12k I believe but the owner wanted more ($17k).

I am not familiar with air ride but can the car be driven at the lowered height? It's a really nice looking car man. Stick with your asking price. Color, mileage, condition, year, price...its all a great recipe for a great sale.

The photos are what I call parking height. It cannot be driven at that height. There is an auto level setup - the window kill switch below the heated seat buttons turns the auto level on/off. The window switch just above the heated seat buttons raises/lowers the car .

                      It is schwartz 2.

                        Bump.

The car will be going into storage soon and it is unlikely to be for sale in the spring. Get it while you can!

Thank you! I thought it was pretty cool myself.

I have another little treat to come as well... e60 aux input:

It's just a tiny bit smaller than the stock switch openings but I'll make it look proper. I already have the aux hard wired into the headunit but I don't like having an exposed wire hanging at the ashtray. This should clean it up nicely.
