    E30/M60 remove 530 5spd after install ?

Can the trans be removed /installed from under the car after installed in E30 / M60 ? Looks to me to be just as fast to pull eng/trans.
    TIA

Nope. I tried a few weeks ago to swap clutch/flywheel, and the bellhousing gets jammed up on the tranny tunnel. It won't back out enough to clear the input shaft out of the flywheel splines so you can't drop it down. I spent 4 hours banging and prying to end up giving up and pulling the engine... which took 45 min.

Thank for the confirmation on that. why did you pull the trans? After seeing your post about the TTV flywheel we decided to use it. We are having trouble getting the clutch to fully engage, did you run in to this issue as well? and what clutch did you pair with the TTV flywheel?

          thanks again!

I dropped the engine in first to do the wiring harness, and when I got the clutch, I tried to install it without removing the engine.... I failed.
I just started the engine today, so I'll get back to you tomorrow on the clutch situation ;)

                I have a 5sp, I am using the TTV flywheel and a southbend stage 2 S52 clutch.
It fit fine, but haven't finished the car yet so not sure if it works or not yet.

TTV flywheel and 5spd with Spec stage 3 M52 clutch, works perfectly.
