Jason got the vinyls on and sent me these pics. I think it turned out awesome!

We still have a lot to do, but we'll get it all done. Seat mounts need made, ignition/kill switch wiring needs done, and we need to come up with an exhaust. The race is in less then 3 weeks, so it'll be non-stop work from here on out.

I would be there but work is nuts these days, not sure what my team's status is but they did get accepted. Good luck Jersey is fun track not difficult at all.

First race done! We finished 23rd out of 110. We didn't have a single issue, the car was on track 100% of the time. Couldn't ask for a better first race. We turned some respectable lap times, all 4 of us were between 1:50 and 1:55 with a clear track, and FTD for the whole field was 1:45 if I remember correctly. As we loaded the car on the trailer we saw that the clutch slave cylinder was puking fluid, so we got lucky there.

How did City guys do? This is their 3rd race if memory serves me. The build on their car was very decent.

They blew an engine half way through day one and blew the rear on day two. We've been friends with those guys since before we both got into lemons, they live a few miles away from us. So it's nice being able to camp together and help each other if needed.

Tough luck for them, I read their build on another site and half expected Phil to slam them at the late summer NJMP race but good theme helped.

Zero laps, they seemed to like our theme and we obviously don't have any suspension goodies or anything. Passed tech with no issues as well.

The only damage to the car was a donut on the rear door from someone.

$200, through a friend. It was mainly just the small graphics. The blue/orange paint is rolled on, and the yellow sun is spray painted.
