Diff swap... gotchas? what to replace? loctite?

I'll be swapping diffs in my 318is in the coming weeks (small case 4.10 open to small case 4.10 LSD). I've already installed a stud kit in the replacement diff to make the job go easier. I plan to change the oil with Redline 75W90 prior to installing the replacement diff in the car. The bushing seems to be in decent condition.

I've read a few DIYs on this, but I have questions:
    - Where should I apply loctite? (Already installed on the stud kit per manufacturer's specification)
    - Should I plan to replace any hardware during the swap? If so, what?
    - Do I need to remove the exhaust to have clearance for the diff/carrier bolts?

Aside from simply unbolting the old one and installing the new one, anything I'm missing aside from what I've already done?

    Thanks,

    Mike

Red Loctite on the half shaft bolts where they attach to the output flanges of the diff.

FWIW I have always used "blue" loctite on the half shaft bolts and they have never loosened (making sure everything was clean of course).
