Hm, they don't look quite as huge on your car as they do the red Eurostop car. On a black car like mine, they'd probably look even smaller.

What's the fit/finish of them like? They'd likely be painted satin black, or done in the same fine-texture bedliner as my engine bay.

I remember a guy on bimmerforums that built a blue E36 with some JDM looking fender flares, You might want to search around on the track build section
wow that looks amazing, for some reason DTM fiberworks picture makes them look too bulbous, but on your car it fits the lines perfect.

The fenders on Ericks car looks the same. Its just the color of the cars which makes the flares look different I guess. They are from the same mold my friend;)

The fit/finish is decent. They fit on the fenders pretty well, and are 100% better fit than the IE flares. They are a bit heavy, and could be made lighter by using better layup techniques, but overall they aren't that bad. Surprisingly, mine are straight out of the box and on the car, no paint at all! I was in afghanistan when my friend put them on, and when I came back he had already riveted and caulked them on. It matched close enough so I didn't bother taking them back off to repaint them.

You see where mine turn vertical? If you trim that part off, and then trim up as far as you like, I think you'll get exactly the look your looking for.

In this pic you can see how my friend flared the bottom of the fender to match up with the flares. I'll have to measure my track because it's a bit wider than stock, and I'm running much larger wheel/tires than stock, so I needed that flare to clear the wheels turning/scrub radius.

Do the Eurostop flairs actually give more room for bigger tires? Do I have to cut up my rear arches? I want to fit a 235 width tire on a 9" et 20 rear wheel. My quarters are rusted out and the PO filled them with bondo so cutting the wheel arches is no big deal.

I believe so, 235 should be no problem, I think some people are running 255 :)

I'm running 245/35/18 right now on a wider than stock track, and I'm planning on running 285/30/18 continental Grand am takoffs for next season... So I'd say, Yes, they can fit more rubber.

I don't know the exact sizes but I remember that red 4 door had a 245 on the rear.

This pleases me. These flares are in my car's future, once I get the suspension under it.

Eric, your PM box is full, just wanted to say thanks for the reply.

[QUOTE=Janderson;2851007]Does anyone know if there are other styles of overfenders available for the E30? All I can find are this style, and I don't like them at all. Way too many rivets, and way too round/bulbous:

Just mount them from the inside wheel well. Make a lightweight contour flange, sandwich that with less rivets and it should look more professional. And easy to replace.
