You can go as tall as you want... you'll never have any problems with lack of torque.

Short little acceleration video, I can't wait to switch to 3.15 rear end...current ratio is just way too short even though it's super fun.

Since the weather has been good I've been driving it daily, wish the exhaust was a little bit quieter as I am not fooling anyone anymore with 318i badge lol!

Haven't been to a car show in years, decided to check out local Euro Sunday event and it was huge turnout but only seen 1 other E30, local guys really clean E30 M3 with S50 or S52 swap. CAtuned crew snapped a photo of car, I really need to get the car detailed and take some good photos. Ordered the missing center caps from TireRack today and also clips for the fender trim. Maybe one day I'll get the side skirts painted and installed too.

Gearing in town is liveable, but doing 80@4000 rpm in 5th is getting old on freeway .

I stopped by a local shop and they have what they said an accurate scale they use to weight cars, so I weighted my car with full interior , half a tank of gas but not empty trunk . I have some car parts that I need to either sell or throw away so maybe 30-40 lbs worth of stuff .

Car tipped the scales at 2550lbs, my previous corner weight total was 2500 with m30b35 again with full interior and half a tank of gas . The new battery is in the trunk but is also much bigger than the standard e30 group size .

I'll have the car corner weighted soon, and will post the numbers then . Should be less, with an empty trunk I think . Pretty happy with it so far, if you think s50/m30 transforms the car, m6x is just on another level .

Man, your car....it's beautiful. I has question: are there skirts to go along with the front and rear valance combo you have? That euro bumper+rear valance combo is perfect.

I have yet to drive a V8 E30, but I have similar thoughts, which ultimately led to me ditching my M52 setup in favor of M20 until I can do something "a bit more substantial".

                  You still boosterless?

Thanks guys ! She has potential :)

To answer your questions , I do have matching oem skirts but they need to be stripped from old paint / repainted and then installed .

Yes currently using wilwood/Garagistic setup but will be switching soon to tilton 3 pedal floor mounted setup .

It's why I prefer the early cars over the later. The higher arch in the rear looks so well balanced with Euro bumpers and not bottoming out on a Pop Tart.

Seeing this gives me faith in my 85 318i. I'm gunning for the 2,500 range with an S50 and lightness mods added.
