Does anyone know if the actual window motor is compatible amongst the early/late E30s, vert/sedan/coupe, left or right and front or back? I’m looking for just the motor, where the remove the 2 Torx screws and slide the motor out. The passenger side went out in my 325ES and I can not find a replacement reasonably priced on eBay but there are copious amounts of motor/regulator combos from verts and later model 325i’s.

Since no one has answered yet....and if you haven’t found out already... the answer I believe is No, the window regulators from 88+ cars is a different design and requires not simple modification at the very least to make it work if at all, keep your eyes out on the classifieds here to hopefully come across one at a reasonable price.
