Need help decoding differential tag ID

I found this tag on a 188mm med case diff that had an e30 diff cover on it. I presume it was installed in an e30 at some point (because of the e30 cover and it was still sealed) but i don't know for sure, nor I have any other info about it's history. How and why was this tag on this diff? And what do the digits mean?

Google search is no good here either.

Bentley mentions BMW replacement diffs with these tags but I don't know how to decipher the tags. They should have just reused the standard gear tags. Just pull the cover and count the gear teeth. Then do the math to find your ratio.

Assumably, "1141", meaning 41/11 = 3.73. Would be my best guess. IIRC, that's how ZF would set up the differential tags.

            Unbolt cover. Look inside

Thanks and yes, it is infact H35. Also counted gears to confirm its 3.73.
