This thread would lead me to believe that I have the worst of both worlds; early tails, no rear valance, late model low rear arches.

    Too bad for me.

Looks good, but the only reason is that its done clean, and done right.

I would rather have a late model 2 dr. bumpers and valance are already on it.

I do like that car though. Is that yours siggy?

Do dig late fenders. You can still work big wheels with proper tires if you want to :)

I guess in my opinion, I want an equal amount of fender gap front and rear, and for late arches, that requires a lot of rake. I happen to like some rake, so it works out fine for me, but apparently a lot of people don't. I do have one rear fog hooked up, and I do run it when it is raining/snowing/foggy. And it does sometimes help with tailgaters because they get confused at the single light haha.

All of that sad, my favorite combo is early arches, plastic bumpers and valences, and small tails with one caveat: either the brake lights have to be wired to where the rear fogs are supposed to be, or both the brake and rear fog lights come on when you hit the brakes. Otherwise it just makes the back of the car look tall, awkward, and narrow. Luckily it's an easy change to make, should I ever buy an early car.
