    in the ash zone?

PNW people of r3v, a friendly PSA reminder about the fires and falling ashes...

    you love your paint job?

    water + ashes = lye
never wipe the ashes off, and don't just rinse the car but rather wash and dry it by hand properly.

    carry on

I'm just going to go 100 and that shit will go bye bye. I just washed all 4 of my rides yesterday morning. I'm not too happy now about that.

Already washed once this week, looks like it'll get washed again in the next couple of days.

          vacuum, then wash.

Just straight water will clog up and ruin everything.

But all my E30's are in storage.

I'm getting concerned about this, vacuuming and then washing with soap and drying is the best way?

Might be a dumb idea but what about wiping down the car with weak vinegar or something to neutralize the hydroxides?

It's also the abrasive of the ash you have to watch out for.

Yeah, The Dumpster fire is staying in the garage until We get away from Satan's taint. The paint may be shitty on The Dumpster fire, but I don't want to make it any worse. Not to mention the open element filter I run.

BTW, Oregon people, Your governor sucks almost as much as Inslee....
