    Lachssliber Paint-Scratch

Within the next few weeks, I'm saving a few dollars here and there to finally buy an iS lip to finally get the iS up to speed. I've been researching good paint shops, but nothing beats word of mouth

    What I need:
    Lachssilber (206) paint
    Reasonable Price
    Quality Paint

Just wondering if there is any word on the street about a good paint shop/specialist in Sacramento; not sure what I'll be spending on paint, but I figure $50-$100 is an expected budget.
I may even be up to paintscratching the code match and buying a spray. I'm not totally sure how well that paint matches though and not totally confident in how well it will hold, but I just need a Lachsilber that will hold for about a year or 2 until I can afford a professional respray

    CLIFFS:
    Need Lachssilber respray
You tell me best shop for price/paint match

J paint scratch matches up very well just shoot it with a sealer then clear and if you want more protection use the clear 3m stuff and wrap it

I may just order up a paint scratch kit; seems easy enough. Now to find an automotive grade clear...

Has anyone had any experience with PS? The 206 Lachssilber of the color tablet looks somewhat bluish. Anyone pull the trigger and give it a shot?

It may look different but remember paint will always somewhat come out different once dried and cured

I used pain scratch to paint my IS lip and it came out great. You have to get really close to see the difference. I chose the DIY method because these things get chipped, fall off and jus generally get beat to death.

I have put about 5,000 miles on my car since I painted my lip and not one crack or chip, pretty solid stuff. Also, buff it if you can before you mount it so it isn't so dull and it will even out the clear coat as well.

Just remember, A LOT of light coats. Don't drench the thing.

paint scratch kit is the way to go, that budget isnt worth mixing the paint prep and spray. you will get great results from the spray kit.

Remember, a good paint job is all in the prep.

Thanks for the advice guys; once I order my iS lip sometime next month, I will be going Paint-Scratch as the lip will come ore-primered. Light even coats of Lachssilber and medium coats of clear.

To me it makes more sense aswell wince I will always have a close match Lachssilber paint if I ever need to touch it up anytime later.

                Thanks again guys
