WTB: 885 Cylinder Head

I'm on the hunt for a known, good condition 885 cylinder head. I want a head that is in good shape, with no known issues or flaws. Lower mileage is a bonus and if it has any mild work like a 274 cam or less even better.

I am not looking for a project head, or one that came out of a non-running car. Need this for my SETA conversion.

Will drive up to 5-6 hours round trip from Seattle for the right head. Of course the cheaper the better :)

I have the head off my race motor that bit the dust last season. Two and most of a third race on it. It was rebuilt, 270-something cam..etc.

But it's not going cheap.

Unless you buy a head fresh out of the shop you are going to have to get some work done. IMO you are much better off buying a decent core, getting it cleaned, tested, skimmed, the valves done and guides etc as needed. Otherwise go to bimmerheads.com
