So one day I opened my trunk and noticed I had a couple inches of water built up.... I started to dig around and couldn't find anywhere that had traces of water.... The next day my turn signal and tail light went out and I inspected and noticed my whole tail light was full of water! Hard to see in this picture, but half of the housing was full of water.

And that gave me an excuse to buy these! Nothing much, but just gives it a modern update for the car. 8-)

      And some more parts!

      Front lower control arms
      Steering knuckles
      Sway bar endlinks.

It's almost 2 A.M. and this is how my car sits.

Well my water pump took a shit so I had to replace it....

      Couple hours in....

And then many hours and cursing in.... Finally got the pump out. Which means in half way done!!!!

Starting to build it back up.

      And completed!!

Also, since my radiator hoses are out. I had put in a coolant sensor.

A little update. Got some things done.

Also have this pile of parts waiting to be installed.

True, and the shocks I'm getting are made for lowering springs. So that's a big positive.

      Some more parts came in.

My rear shocks came in today.

Front shocks came in today!! Now hopefully I'm going to try to get everything together this week!

Started around noon Saturday, and it is almost 2 A.M. Sunday and this is how far I have reached.....

The front suspnsion set up on this car is unbelievably complex! Way harder than I thought...

The rear is complete thank goodness!!!

I'm going to try to finish up later after a good rest...
This car is becoming an ass to work on.... Especially this fucking bolt!!!

But progess is being made! Passenger side is complete, and starting on the driver side.
Here's a comparison of the old and new control arms.

      OLD

      NEW

It's finally back on the road!! Got done around 1:30 this morning.

I replaced my old worn out badges.

Also got this in the mail...... To bad I cannot use it now.....

      It was this.

This saves a lot of time and money! I already have a complete head ready to drop in too!!! All I need to do is order the parts that need replacing as in timing belt, head bolts, etc, etc... So hopefully I will get everything ordered on Monday and get this thing back on the road next week!!!
Here's the refurbished head and the point of no head.

Got my exhaust stuff in. So I'm getting up early to take it to the muffler shop to have it installed.

2.5 inch in/out magnaflow hi-flow cat with magnaflow 18 inch body, 2.5 inch in and 2 2.25 inch outs

Got my car back today!!!!!!! If only I had a video camera worth recording the exhaust note!!! It sounds like pure beast!!!!

      Also installed my CF intake.

      What's going on here??

Welcome to R3v. Where everybody's car is cleaner than yours and you're an idiot.

Looks like you're doing great work - keep it up!

            Also, love the missing high-beam.

None at the moment. Kind of on a budget right now. So, I'm just replacing part as they need to be until the cash flow comes back.
