    Looking to borrow Valve spring compressor and seal remover/installer

    Title, Let me know if anyone in the area would be willing to loan me these tools. Need to do my headgasket and figured i might as well do my valve seals while this is out. Thanks!

    Autozone usually has those as free loaner tools

        Valve seals can be installed with an appropriately sized socket.

        As far as a valve spring compress, I HIGHLY recommend this style:



        I made one by simply drilling holes in a 1/4" thick plate and used tubing as spacers. No need for the recessed pockets. I attached a picture with measurements.

          The m20 is a bit different, not sure how well that would work.


          I have had one of the c-clamp styles for years, don't remember paying a lot for it at the local box parts store.
