Random thread bump...but did you ever figure out what pieces were required for stuffing a G245 close-ratio (dogleg) trans in this car, with an M20 in front of it? I have come across my own G245 CR box, but cannot find any definitive information as far as driveline, transmission suspension and shifting components go...don't want to buy it and not be able to install it in the car.'72 2002 pickup | '88 M5 | '89 330is | '89 M3 | '01 Z3M | '11 328xi-t

(i prefer the aluminum shift carrier, but if I have to run the stamped steel unit, whatever)'72 2002 pickup | '88 M5 | '89 330is | '89 M3 | '01 Z3M | '11 328xi-t

You do have a lot on your plate, but its all your fault!... I dont blame you though, I wish I could take it off your hands... I love early models, but I have zero justification for getting a second E30Simon
