Hello all, new to the forum here and I didn't see anyone with this problem. If I didn't look hard enough please point me to the right thread. I bought an 86 325es the other day and can't get it to start, I just finished replacing the entire engine harness as the PO decided it would be cool to cut the original one all up. Anyways, when I turn the key ON the fuel pump just keeps on running, what causes this? When it's sitting there spinning away and I try to roll the windows down I slows it dawn. I swapped out the regulator from a donor car and I also swapped out the relay in case it was sticking but no dice. Any help will be appreciated. Once this problem is figured out I'll move on to the no starting.....
