I’m wrestling with tint on my e30. Just like Vegas we have the hotter than hell sun here in Phoenix. I just don’t like tint on e30s.

Incorrect. Not in 110 degree heat, already fixed that nonsense. But I see your point why would I want to keep my dash crackfree or my interior in pristine condition. Brilliant!

Post after pictures of the tint job.

I don’t think I will tint my e30. I’ll just start taking my f30, which is tinted, during the hot summer months.

Smart play, totally a personal choice. Easily removed but I intend to drive it this summer. It also has the r134a conversion.

I'm not a huge fan of tint, but I think it looks fine. The protection tint provides the interior of the car is worth it. Mine is tinted and I put up a sunshade year round as I don't want to have to swap in yet another dash. :)

Agreed on the sunshade, and as the owner of THIS car I vastly prefer the tint.

Had a nightmare detailer dent the hood and roof. My awesome PDR guy just removed approximately twenty dents. Photos up tomorrow.

I have to say the time looks good on this color.

I don’t think I could say the same on bronzit.

It was 95 today here and the sun was brutal in my e30. Still I don’t like the look of tint on my car.

Definitely a personal preference. It was 92 in Vegas today with the windows down I did not need the a/c on with the tint. Also, would like the dash to stay crack free which tint on the front helps to make that a reality. Totally get why tint is not loved on the e30.
