New England shop that can work on a Trooper?

    Hey guys -

I live in RI and have inherited an '86 Isuzu Trooper two-door from a friend down south. It's rust-free and unmodified but has been sitting for about 5 years. I'm going to get it up here at some point but just want to ship it off to a shop that can do a top-end refresh, so headgasket / tbelt / water pump / plugs + wires / etc.

These are prone to having vacuum issues and headgasket failures so I'd like to have a shop go through it the "right" way. Pretty much anyone can work on this but I don't want it to go to a turn-and-burn shop that just wants stuff in and out the door.

I formerly used a great little shop in East Providence that would work on anything but they are now closed. Anyone know of a place that isn't at VSR-levels of correctness but better than your local oil change place?

I'll ship it wherever in New England provided I can drive it home afterwards!

    Thanks guys.
