did a little more research on this badboy.

never realized it was burned to a crisp a couple years back!

have a whole new respect for the builders commitment and labour of love to bring it to where it is now.

I'd love to see it move, and I'm sure in time, she will.

I can definitely appreciate the work that went into that car. Bringing it back from that fire is crazy.

I dont know what it is.. But I hate the look of stainless braided lines..

I think the history of this car is pretty cool though. First a clean e28, loan it to a friend so they can wreck it, then end up with a platform to do whatever you want, kill it with fire, bring it back with money, and so on.

So being a tube frame, they can just pull the body? My first thought was, "how long does it take to change the spark plugs?"

It'll see a track for a stanceworks photo shoot. But I bet that's all.

I will respect it if it does what it was built for, but I wont hold my breath that this thing will be on the track with other Group5 cars

I think it's cool. Still trying to figure out what the majority of the trash upfront is.

Dry sump stuff and the cooling system.

the story behind this car is insane. and where its come is just awesome, I personally love everything about it.

and as a disclaimer, he rusted out his car when it wasn't a scene point thing to do, at the time he was being original.

and maaaaaaaan I hope he really does track it, just to shut up the crybabies who are never satisfied.

I want to see it on the track as well.

I like the look, and what this incarnation is. The E28 is fairly unloved, and unless they have an M badge, nobody is willing to pay cash for one. Trust me, we have gone through a few that we picked up for dirt cheap..

While I have not seen it in person, it does appear like it is legitimately built with the intention of getting on the track and turning a few laps in anger.

If anyone has a better build thread link, would love to see it.

It would be a huge waste of money to not take it to the track

Dry sump, tube frame, push rod/cantilever, Center lock E52s, hoosier crack, proper buckets.
