I remember talking to him on R3v when I was just a stupid ass 9th grader who had an r3v account, I remember his vert was the wallpaper back in my freshman year of high school on the school computers.

Crazy shit. Everyone really need to appreciate every minute of the their lives, you never know when it's your time.

May the man rest in peace.

Parker, thank you for posting this. I can't believe he's gone, the good die young my friends. I first met Jon in early 2004 I would say. He was a fun guy and always willing to do anything for the sake of cars and friends. He was also the guy who brought you R3VLimited decals for many years.

He's driving an E30 in Heaven right now, scraping off the road reflectors up there.

          RIP

It's really depressing to see such an interesting person go.

I wish him and his family the best, I'm glad the community can fully express their love of a person.

He seems like such a great guy. As much as it's sad to see him go, it's absolutely wonderful that the e30 community cares for their friends like this. I'd be honored to be surrounded be a community like this when I pass away. RIP Jon and may your spirit ever be with the BMW community.

What a shame. I never had the good fortune to meet him personally, but I've always heard good things about him, and always enjoyed his posts here. Rest in Peace Jon.

If it was raining in Socal I would always expect a phone call for a street drift session. It's really hard to see a friend pass. I'll never forget when use to pull up to a meet, run to his trunk and pull out a oil catch pan to throw under his car. Then, when he would leave, he would refill the motor with the oil that dripped out during the meet.

Jon, without you I would never have been pushed to drive so hard. The hand brake initiations and clutch kicks are tool you have taught me and will stay with me forever. I'll miss you buddy...
                        Word.

the first time I met Jon was at SBI. Shortly thereafter, I received a phonecall from Jon asking if I wanted to attend a street drift session in OC. That's where I met Geoff/Smoove1. We were sliding in a parking lot when two guys walked out of a building asking what we were doing. My buddy said, "we're just drifting, do you wanna watch?" and they said, "no man, we go to church here, can you leave?"

probably my fondest memory of the two of them.

RIP Jon, you'll always be my SupaStar brother

                            Wow. This is tough.

When I came to California a couple of years back as I was traveling the US, he not only came from Irvine to Hollywood to pick me up for a car show, he also drove me to TNG to meet Mariano, Matt, and a few other friends one night. We had a blast, met the Supastar crew and saw some amazing cars, and he was a down to earth guy who showed me his home and made me feel welcome for a night instead of driving back to Hollywood.

The next day we met up with a fellow E30-er with a silver M3 who's name I cannot remember, and went to eat at this bangin' Mexican restaurant. Afterward we rolled back to his house and did some makeshift work to his car after he broke something along the way

He was a genuine guy who was kind to me, as a stranger whom he only knew from a forum. He will be missed.

I always thought he was crazy for running that much camber on a 4k-lbs car. It was sexy though. Life is too short.
