    89 alpine white 325i sedan OBD1 M52b31 6 speed

Whats up guys, I am currently in the process of building my 89 325i sedan into a drift ready, street car. The car has 327k currently on the body and the previous owner claimed it was on its 7th M20 . The car has a 4.10 LSD, ksport coils upfront, bilsteins in the rear, condor poly bushings all around, and is pretty gutted sadly but has a sweet uncracked dash and baller euro check panel. Since I am only 19 and going to school and work I only have so much money and time to spend on this,so this is going to be a pretty budget and slow build, but fresh and OEM.

    Build breakdown/ Plan:

    - For the heart of this build I am using a M52b25 aluminum block from a Z3 I had laying around. Using the crankshaft from a M54b30 (craigslist $80) and will be using pistons and connecting rods from an M52b28 or M54b30 whichever I can find. M50b25 sump, and throttle cable from an e34 525 PN(35411160609), and M52b28 oil pan baffle which you need for the M54 rotating assembly to clear. PN/ (11131433060).

    - Top end will be M5025tu vanos cylinder head which I had laying around. Don't know what I will do with the head yet, looking into port n polishing it but we will see. Camshafts I will be using an M54b30 intake cam with lifters and trays, and for the exhaust cam M50b25NV. These cams are a good alternative to S52 cams as they can be picked at many junkyards for cheap and make nice gains when tuned properly. Going to use M52b28 pinktop injectors, with M50 intake manifold.

    - Drivetrain: Now this is where I'm going to either get a lot of criticism or love but I don't care because I haven't seen many other 6 speeds matted to 24v e30's and e36's. I am going to use the transmission out of a e60/e46/z4 M54 6 speed, ZF GS6-37. These can be picked up for around $4-600 from many BMW dismantles and I will be picking one up soon. Driveshaft I will need to run the rear half from an e36 m3 and front half from Z4 3.0 and CSB from an e30.

Have a complete OBD1 e36 M50b25tu wiring harness, will use 413 red label ecu. Tuning looking into options still, TRM or RKtunes, want your guys opion and suggestions open to everything. Keeping the motor OBD1 with the M52 block by using a front timing case and wheel from an M50 and removing the trigger wheel of the M54 crank. (OBD1 FTW)

Will post weekly and keep this going till the car is running, have many plans for it after the swap. Until then, heres some pics of my missile
