Alpina, Hartge, or ACS 40% limited slip?

I have read that some Alpina, Hartge, or Schnitzer cars had diff's upgraded to 40% lock up. Is this accurate and if so, how did they accomplish it? I assume they simply added an extra clutch but am really looking for verification.

Any info about these modified diff's is appreciated.

I know on Hartge H35-24 m cars did come with 40% lock up. Not sure what they used back in the day. I been wanting to do a 40% lock up on H35-24 clone.

I had mine built with 40% lockup and will be installing it soon.

It required 3 clutches for that

I have a three clutch 40% lock up in my 325 and I absolutely love it!! It's a little squirmy in the wet but entertaining none the less. There is no going back after that.
