    Worth it?

I've been looking for a decent 535is for quite a few months and have come up empty. This one popped up this week, but it's currently not running. The guy has all the parts to get it on the road again, but it looks like quite a bit of work. Are good ones just that hard to find these days? Or should I jump (if I can get it for the right price) on something like this that needs a little TLC?

I have cash in hand and am ready to buy, so if anyone has any good leads ... let me know.

I would say no. If running it would be worth it, but since it is currently just a parts car.

"I have all the parts to get it running"

      means,

"half the shit is there, maybe, and you will need to spend the next year trying to track down the rest and will end up costing you more than one that is actually running. Once it is running you will find out the engine is not as advertised"

        no man.

The biggest red flag ever is, "I have the parts to fix it, but I'm not going to."
