Up for sale is my Nevada on Brown 1972 BMW 2002. Equipped with a 4 speed manual, 2.0L M10, solex carb. Very rare color, only found on some pre-73 models, original to the car. Originally from the midwest, the car is bone stock and has been owned and meticulously maintained by enthusiasts for it's entire life (as of 8/19, the car has not seen rain or snow in the past three years). VIN is 2578813, numbers match all around.
Mechanical:
- The car needs absolutely nothing but a driver. One of the best driving 02s I have ever had the privilege to pilot- total riot to drive, even with 98 horsepower and a 4 speed manual.
- The motor recently returned an excellent compression test- 85, 82, 85, and 84 PSI respectively.
- Steering is tight and the car feels very agile, especially considering it's age and specification.
Other than the odometer/speedometer, everything works.

Invoice can be presented upon request
Cosmetic:
- Paint is in very good shape, only a few small rust bubbles and blemishes.
- All rubber gaskets are in very good shape as well, not dried or worn out.
- Chrome is overall great- a few small blemishes here and there, but nothing that can't be buffed out.
- Interior is excellent and is almost completely original to the car.
- Headliner has no rips or sags, seats are also in great shape aside from a couple rips in the drivers seat.
- Dashboard has no cracks
- Doorcards in excellent shape
- Non-original stereo, but works very well
Overall cons:
- Non-working Speedometer/Odometer. Car is estimated to have around 101K miles.
- Front seat has a few small rips
- Car is originally from the Midwest, so there is some rust. The worst areas are on the rockers, nothing structural
I drove the car on a 300 mile trip last weekend and can assure that it is possibly one of the best driving 2002s on the market. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere. I'd love to keep it but there are too many cars in the family and I simply am not around enough to drive it. I will definitely regret letting it go.
Many more pics on request.
Asking $10,500 or best offer.
