    Help Removing Motor Part

    Friends,

I'm in the middle of swapping some motor parts between cars but for the life of me can't figure out how to get these levers in the top storage separated from the motor in the trunk? What I thought was a screw in the lever doesn't seem to fit any kind of tool so I know I'm doing something wrong...

Thanks for taking the time to respond and help!

It is a Torx style head. I'm not sure of the size off hand, but you're looking for a Torx driver.

It should be a hex head. M5x40. It's possible someone has rounded it off using the wrong tool. Do you have a better close up?

It’s actually 35mm long not 40. OP’s bolt head was stripped, which is why he didn’t see the torx head
