you can have the seller put a low price. it has to go through customs but you can declare as personal effects. you might have to or may not pay any duties.

i know i didn't pay any duties when i got a tranny from UK. i did have to go through customs to clear it and show the shipper the papers for them to release it.

Man, I wish. I would LOVE to have a real S50.

Is that what you are bringing in? Because if you are I know of 4 S50B30s and one S50B32 both with trannys that would be available for 7-8k.

There is more difference than just the ITB's. The 3.0L motor made 286hp and the 3.2L made 321hp.

There's 2 S38 E30s up here, good lord those cars are quick. One M3 Evo2 (Dinan 4.0 stroker S38) and one 318iS (E36 5-lug, 330 brakes, GCs, Hartge full kit). The 318 owner said he wouldn't even bother doing it again, the car has way more power than you can ever use. He recommends S50 swaps!

Here in holland there is a s38 only it is 7000 euro with tranny.
