Is it possible to only get the front kit? Whats the price for that?

If you do it on the group buy, I can do 350 for a front kit.

International shipping would add a little bit more.

Depends how fast people pay! It started off strong but slowed down. I am planning on March if I can get payments.

Will the standard 25mm BMC upgrade be enough to run these brakes?

I am eager to hop on the group buy, just wondering if I can I get a set with the rear shaved for z4 hubs? (reduced 2mm) It would really save me the hassle of doing it later.

Yes I can run some thinner brackets for the Z4 hubs.

I would also be interested in the 2mm offset brackets for the Z4 hubs. If strength is a concern, couldn't 2mm be added to the backside? At a savings of $270 its hard not to consider (245 vs 110 per hub via ECS).

The thickness between existing to new mounting locations needs to be reduced by 2mm; technically the thickness could be saved (not reduced) between the stock mounting locations and outside of that. However, this would require additional work in the CAD files (or whatever they use on their CNC) to incorporate those changes in contour as opposed to just changing the thickness down overall by 2mm for the same shape.

If you look at competing kits they often have this detail but in my opinion it shouldn't matter because your smallest cross section is still at the stock mounting location. If these were going to fail they would probably fail at the bolt hole where we have the 2mm reduction. It's hard to say without doing a finite element analysis though. That's what I was going to do before I found out someone already made this kit, haha.

Ahh, I see the dilemma. I'd be happy to run some static stress calculations when I get home. I just need to know the rear bracket thickness and the bolt hole diameter.

The cheapest I've seen is from ECS at 245. They are all BMW OEM parts.
