Very old thread... but wondering if anyone can confirm what the right setup is?
REAR:
- Rear E30 M3 Hubs on non-m E30 trailing arms
- non-m E30 1/2 shafts. (pls confirm)
- E30 M3 Rotors
- E30 M3 / Standard E30 wheel bearing (interchangeable)
- E30 M3 Caliper OR E32 Caliper (pls confirm)
- E30 caliper carriers (pls confirm)
* there were some questions in this thread about if the E32 calipers could be used with E30 carriers. If not, what is the correct carrier to use?
FRONT:
- E30 M3 strut tubes, knuckle, etc... complete assembly
- E28 front brakes, caliper and rotor? (pls confirm)
- E30 front brake carrier? E28? (pls confirm)
* there seems to be some confusion on whether E28 brakes will work or not, and if they do, are they M5 E28 brakes or non-m E28 brakes.
GENERAL:
- E32 master cylinder
*I understood that the brake lines are of different size on the M calipers than the non-m. True? Assuming that this requires a re-run of larger brake lines?
Hoping someone can shed some light on this.
