What sucks is when you can't get your SRS or ABS to function correctly AND one of your trailing arm nuts and washers FALLS OFF THE CAR.... omfg alignment shop is fixing this tomorrow (and it better be free!!). At least I got to flog the car a bit on Highway 1 before it got all wiggley in the rear form the bolt loosening up.

Side note: I called up Ireland Engineering today and told them what happened and they said they would send me another nut/bolt unit FOR FREE. Most excellent. I am thinking locktite for this next round.

use the paste thread lockers, works much better than the liquid/gel type.

the nuts are already that funky squished "locking" kind... I just think it wasn't tightened at the alignment shop. But I will look into that Tony.

Get a scope, put it on each wheel sensor and make sure all the sensors put out the same signal by spacing everything with washers. That's how my co-worker did his. He said the rears are super sensitive, while the fronts aren't. But that thing did brake a WHOLE lot better than it did before, even improved the ABS functionalities.

I spaced my rear e30 sensors off the MZ3 trailing arm with copper crush washers and a longer allen bolt. Worked perfectly.

Jordan, that's what I did, but I wired the E36 stuff to the front... I have e36 front sensors and e36 front ABS pusle rings, and e30 rear sensors and e30 rear ABS pulse rings. My light still comes on intermittently... so I still need to figure things out. I know yours (Jordan) had matched pulse rings front and rear... but what about your sensors? All e30 or mixed like mine?

great writeup! Would you mind sharing where you sourced the trailing arms and how much they set you back?

The Z3 rear arms were 150 each from Bavarian Auto Recycling. Their calipers were 50 each. Plus shipping, naturally.
