!!NEED ASAP!! WTB: Late Model Manual Drive-Line + misc. 5-spd swap parts !!!

Hey R3V, i need your help again! Just as i finished my head swap and loaded up my E30 for a road-trip the auto slush-box (which was already slipping) totally gave out and lost all forward gears. Like, completely gave out...just revs in gear with ZERO forward motion.

So now it's time to swap it over to a 5-speed. I have the Getrag 260, single-mass flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, shift arm and lever, clutch pedal from a late model car, transmission mount (needs new bushings) and i think that's it. Not exactly sure what else i need besides the drive-line, guibo and the clutch slave cylinder w/lines.

Can anyone tell me what i'm missing and does anyone have these parts on hand? need them fairly quickly since i was supposed to be in Portland over a week and a half ago...

Any help is greatly appreciated. PM or respond here with parts list/parts for sale.

    Thanks!

If your car came with airbag you need a clutch pedal assembly that is specific for airbag models. You can get a whole assembly brand new for about $100 from thebmwpartstore.com

Also I highly recommend you get a re-manufactured driveshaft. Repairing them right is difficult. I got mine from http://www.driveshaftspecialist.com/ out of TX for $550 shipped.

Also get the shifter bushing kit and all the transmission seals.

I know you don't have time, but take your time, this job has lots of little details and must be done right the first time...

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. I will certainly be taking my time and doing this correctly the first time. I've always followed the mantra, "take care of your car and it will take care of you".

Do you have the part number for the pedal box assembly? I've been searching and haven't found the specific number for an airbag car...

use your VIN and go to realoem.com should be easy...

Part 1 and 15 are key if you have a late-model AIRBAG car. Also the attachment parts for part 22 also change (25 & 26 for airbag car instead of 23, 24, &27)

Most of the other parts will fit regardless of Airbag or not...

Also if you are Lucky to source a used assembly, the tell-tale is that the airbag clutch pedal is made of plastic.

Thanks for the help. Truly appreciated!

I already have the plastic clutch pedal and brake pedal from a late-model airbag car. Looks like i just need the supporting bracket (#1) and the return spring with pin& retaining clip (#22, 25 and 26).

Does that look right to you based on the parts i already have?

Yes, that is right (assuming you have the other little parts in the diagram).
