This is my 2nd 24v swap, did it with a friend who is a Mercedes tech - knowledgeable guy.
Car would not start after the swap. There's spark, there's fuel, checked relays, checked fuses, OBD2 reader with 20 pin connector says P0101 and P0135 (MAF and o2 heater relatively). These should not be a reason the car does not start.
DME has been modified by Kassel Motorsports; 2.5 MAF, M50 manifold, 02 delete at the cat, s52 OBD2; Kassel also took my harness and took out all the necessary wiring - trimmed the fat.
Car cranks, wont start; I pulled the fuel rail up and fuel is shooting out of the injectors. Spark plug sparks when I pulled one out and tested. Cam POS is new, crank POS is new. Fuel lines from filter to rail are correct. Pulled the MAF sensor wire out to diagnose, exact same thing. Car sometimes sputters as if there was a combustion, but does not happen more than one or two times max. Headers are disconnected to the rest of the exhaust, but I do not see why that would be the issue.
