Done with manual swap and have few questions.

I just finished my 325 90 manual swap.

-Most people here recommended Redline MTL oil. I couldn’t find any in local stores so I ended up using royal purple 75-90 only brand stated it is safe for yellow metals in the transmission. Keep it? Or order redline?

-Transmission shifts like butter. However when car is idling in neutral I noticed ruttling noise only when clutch depressed. Did some searching and found Getrags has an infamous rattling. Any input in this matter?

    - I took the car for a ride on freeway and noticed that my stock rear differential is too short. My rpm was at about 3500 at 75mph. What differential ratio do you guys recommend for city\freeway driving.

    - brake light is working the opposite way, off when I press the pedal and turn on when I depress it. Any ideas?

Order the redline. Consider the royal poople a flush.

Getrag rattle is a feature, not a bug. If it bothers you, you can use MT90,
at the expense of slower shifting, and even mix MTL and MT90 for fine tuning.
No guarantee that it MT90 will help, but it might.

3.73 was stock for the manual. But you can pick one that
suits the way you drive. I have a very tall gear in my commuter,
and just shift down when I want to accelerate.

Err, you mean, on when you release? That's a new one on me, but
first guess is that you're using the wrong brake switch....
