    Adjustabe subframe (toe - camber)

    Hey guys,

How many of you are running an adjustable subframeon your iX, so you can correct camber and toe? How are you liking it?
I've heard that there is a possibility that the bolts come loose after a while and messes up the settings?

As I'm planning a full rebuild of my suspension I'm wondering what I should do...

    Would like your input :)

Don’t bother with it, unless you’re running dramatically out of spec suspension. If you’re moderately lowered, the RWD subframe and diff bushings will raise the subframe up and correct geometry issues. (And they’re cheaper. Bonus!)

If you do install a camber/toe kit, install the toe adjuster at the INNER pivot and the camber adjuster at the OUTER pivot.

      1. Having the toe adjuster at the outer pivot swings the wheel fore/aft in the wheel house by twice the amount of movement at the adjuster. If you have a really close fitting wheel/tire package, this can screw you up. Having the adjuster at the inner pivot limits the swing to the amount of movement at the adjuster.

      2. BMW themselves put the toe adjuster at the inner pivot on the E34 M5 subframe.

I've already ordered iX bushings, that's why I'm thinking about making the subframe adjustable.

My current ride height (center to wheel arch lip)
        front: 34.8cm or 13.7 in
        rear: 34.3cm or 13.54 in

        Camber:

        Front right: -1deg 46'

        Rear left: -1deg 19'
        Rear right: -1deg 30'

        Toe
