    FS:89' 325is w/lots of recent upgrades

    Location: Hood River, OR

Looking to sell my 1989 BMW 325is 5-speed coupe. I purchased this car last year from a member on this forum. Since then, I've done the following:
    • Garagistic powder coated rear reinforced subframe with camber/caster adjustment
    • Garagistic powder coated reinforced rear control arms
    • Garagistic 95A rear subframe, diff, and control arm bushings
    • Turner motorsports factory rear diff w/3:73 gears
    • Z3 diff cover w/magnetic plugs
    • Revshift Diff stud kit
    • New speedo sensor and wiring housing
    • New GKN rear axles
    • New rear hubs
    • New FAG rear wheel bearings w/new locking plates and nuts
    • Bimmerworld braided brake lines
    • Bimmerworld Premium Race Bullet Nose Wheel Stud kit (rear)
    • New OEM rear sway bar end links
    • Wrinkle powder coated valve cover
    • New valve cover gasket
    • New exhaust gaskets
    • New intake manifold gasket
    • New OEM throttle body and intake boot. I simplified this to one vacuum line and put a simple 90 degree check valve in-line.
    • Replace odometer gears (still working on this...the odometer still doesn't work after the swap.)
    • Oil change
    • New Bosch O2 sensor

Purchased, but not installed (comes with the car):
    • Output shaft seal
    • Bimmerworld Premium Race Bullet Nose Wheel Stud kit (front)
    • Bimmerworld braided brake lines (front)
    • Bimmerworld TrackCAB Solid Control Arm Mounts
    • Garagistic 95A poly motor mounts
    • Garagistic 95A poly trans mounts
    • Garagistic DSSR selector
    • Last but not least...a full OEM Mtech2 kit purchased from sskoda on this forum. This is still packaged from shipment. I will open this up for your inspection if you come see the car and are genuinely interested.

I've put a total of 400 miles on the car since I got it. 200 before tear down and 200 after assembly. I'm just about to change the diff fluid after break-in.

This list of details is a copy/paste from the original ad:
    Interior:
    • Recaro LS front seats, covered in tan leather to match Natur interior. They are mated to original E30 seat rails for seamless integration.
    • E30 M3 rear seat, original Natur leather. No cracks or tears, but is a little faded in spots.
    • Tan houndstooth door panels. Vinyl portion re-dyed to match interior.
    • OEM E30 M3 gauge cluster with aluminum trim rings and Alpina-style rpm trim. Chip swapped to work with six-cylinder. Oil temperature gauge not connected. Needs new odometer gears.
    • Momo Monte Carlo steering wheel with rare center pad. Rare original MOMO horn button with BMW roundel.
    • Black pedal set and footrest from BMWpedals.com
    • Soft leather e-brake surround. Leather wrapped e-brake handle.
    • E36 window switch retrofit
    • Cup holders where ashtray once was. Ashtray included in sale.
    • Near mint Husco armrest with cup holders.
    • Auto-dimming overhead light mod.
    • OEM Euro trunk storage tray, which fits on the battery cover. Includes euro warning triangle and case
    • OEM Euro trunk lid trim piece.
    • Full trunk tool kit with no missing pieces.
    • OEM maplight mirror.

    Electronics:
    • Custom enclosure (“Lukebox”) houses a single JL audio 10W3 V3 subwoofer. The speaker fires through the ski-pass hole behind the rear seat. The custom box is slim in the trunk, and allows access to the spare tire.
    • Rockford Fosgate Power 500a2 and Punch 600a4 amplifiers.
    • 2-farad capacitor to keep amperage draw even.
    • Amps and capacitor are mounted to a carpeted panel in the trunk for a clean look.
    • Sound deadening material installed in the trunk and behind the rear seat.
    • Alpine CD player
    • Factory premium speakers

    Exterior:
    • OEM EuroBosch “Smiley” Ellipsoid Headlights, retrofitted with 55W 4500K HID lighting and amber city lights.
    • Clear turn signals with amber stealth bulbs.
    • 3000K HID lighting in fog lights
    • OEM Euro “IS” side skirts
    • OEM Euro grills
    • Genuine MHW smoked tail lights.
    • Full shadowline trim treatment.
    • Yakima roof rack with cross bars

    Wheels & Tires:
    • 15x7 OEM Style 10 wheels, centers painted black
    • almost new 225/50/15 Toyo Proxes4

    Suspension, Brakes & Steering:
    • H&R Sport springs
    • Bilstein Sport Shocks
    • Sparco front strut brace
    • Sturdy E46 rear shock mounts
    • Power steering removed
    • New brake pads and rotors have less than 10k miles. Brakes do not squeak.

    Engine, transmission and driveline:
    • Strong running M20B25 engine and 5-speed manual transmission.
    • 3.73 limited slip differential.
    • Recent tune-up included new timing belt, water pump, radiator hoses, fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition coil, distributer cap, and ignition rotor. Coolant Flush. Cleaned and rebuilt fuel injectors.
    • Bavauto performance chip
    • Cone intake with heat shield and K&N filter
    • Magnaflow exhaust and high-flow cat.
    • Z3 short shift lever. Rebuilt all shift linkage components at time of install.

    Known Issues:
    • Paint on front lower valence shows typical chipping
    • Inside of rear deck lid has some rust. I believe it could be saved.
    • OBC and gauge cluster backlighting works intermittently. Likely a loose wire or SI board issue.
    • Gas gauge is all over the place
    • AC system works but does not blow cold.
    • Transmission fluid leak (I think its the rear output shaft seal?)
    • Sunroof motor runs but the sunroof doesn't open (spinning on track?)
    • IS side trim needs to be properly attached[/LIST]

I don't know the market, so I'm just going off-of my costs plus a mtech2 kit.
    Asking 8200 OBO.
