1987 325 Coupe
Well it's finally time to put my e30 up for sale. I've owned this car since 2011 and gone through damn near every bit of this car. Tons and tons of time and money have went into this car to get it where it is now. It's been an absolute blast to own, but I think I'm ready to move on. May consider trades and can add cash on top if it's the right car. Mostly looking for stock or tastefully modded cars. Worst I can say is no. That said, here's an overview of everything I can remember on the car:
Powertrain-
1988 SETA engine 160k on engine
ARP studs
Gates timing belt
Z3M aluminum radiator and late model cooling system
666 Fab manifold adapter
Greddy Type RS bov
TiAL 38mm WG
eBay non-wastegated HX35 clone turbo
3" Stainless exhaust to Moroso spiralflow muffler
CX racing 3" intercooler
Megasquirt 2 PnP w/M50 tps
GM airpump for crankcase vacuum under boost
GM tower coils setup for wasted spark
Spec 3+ clutch
RHD 7lb flywheel
Stainless DSSR (uuc?)
Z3M shifter with ZHP knob
delrin shift bushings and new OEM rod selector joint
custom shift arm to retain proper DSSR geometry with short throw lever
Made 240whp on 12psi, Been running on 15psi for a year now. I'm sure its capable of 20psi+ just never really pushed it
Exterior-
HIK Fab blastplate
euro grilles
ellipsoids with 9012/9011 (upgraded bulbs)
Yellow Speed Racing coilovers 10k/12k rear
Naiseg/Elcoy 5-lug conversion
e36 front hubs
Z4 rear hubs
e46m3 front brakes
e39/e46 rear brakes
Hawk HPS pads all around
Motorsport Hardware 90mm studs
Fresh e30 control arms
Condor Bushings EVERYWHERE
-engine, trans, m3 Cabs, diff, subframe, and trailing arms
camber and toe adjusters welded on subframe
3.25 LSD and newer driveshaft
Z3 steering rack and EP3 solid aluminum steering coupler
e38 style 5 wheels with Falken Azenis 615k+ 205/40/r16
Interior-
Massive Seat mount and Sparco Pro 2000 seat
Custom harness bar
4-point sparco harness for driver
rubberized diamond plate floor plates
385mm Mtech 1 wheel
e36 window switches
Innovate wideband
VDO oil pressure and boost/vacuum gauges
The bad:
Rust. What you'd expect from a midwest car. battery box, weird hole in the roof (no idea why, haven't seen another e30 like that), front floor corners have small holes, and a spot on the driver's side rocker. everything actually structural is perfectly sound.
Cracked dash
misc small oil leaks just enough to leave a drop in the driveway after parked a few days
rear seats are ripped, I just have them in there for sound deadening as no one can get in the back seat anyways.
front fenders are mutilated. They got screwed up from drifting initially then I was hellbent on fitting 17x9 et30 245/40s on there without fender flares. Got them to fit flush. I'm still calling that one a win.
Overall the car is turnkey reliable and ready for whatever. Just took it to The Vintage in May then Tail of the Dragon in July and it ran FLAWLESSLY for both.
