    SRS Concepts FCAB

    Hello,

Anyone have any experience with these? http://srs-concept.com/?page_id=444

I'm looking at buying a 5 lug swap that is using the following:

    e36 non-m fronts
    srs concepts fcab
    318ti rear
    retaining the e30 control arms

Not sure I feel comfortable using these fcab's if no one has ever used them.

    Cheers,
    Guddy

I think I am going to pass on them, unless I hear something on these. If anyone is interested, there is someone selling the setup above @ $250 - In Connecticut, has it listed on the NE30 facebook group.

Pretty great deal but I'm not up for the experiment, I was already on the edge with putting a 5 lug swap on a car with 67k miles... The more I think about it, I'm leaning toward it would have to be e30 m3 or no go for me.

your talking about serious cash man. and n/a parts like front dust shields. almost 2k just for front strut housing $$ ask me how I know lol

Somebody already sells cnc hubs to go 5 lug while keeping the al stock offset.

lets say you find e30m3 you'll then want bigger brakes..

Good point. I just can't justify experimenting on a low mileage e30. Tried and true setups only, for me.

That hub looks awesome. They should be offering custom caliper carriers for them though.

Well I lied. He came down on price and offered to deliver. So I guess I will be experimenting with these. Updates to follow.

I actually sold the entire setup to someone who obviously wanted to go 5 lug more than I did.. ha. With that said, I know he is in the middle of swapping to 5 lug, so we should have results soon enough.

Do you have any info/pics/alignment specs on e30s using the setup?

We never put it on an stock e30 and go make an alignment report, nobody gived feedback about alignment too. We only have a kit installed on our drift car, but the set up is not standard... e36 m3 evo complet suspension, direction and brake system with custom longer LCA ( more camber for wheels clearance 17in+225-50-17).

The guy I sold my 5 lug swap to is. Seems to be working out pretty well for him.

I just got a set of these. I plan on running non-m knuckles and brakes but I am going to use the 96+ e36 m3 control arms. I'll report back when everything is installed and I will put up my alignment specs once I get it on the rack.

I am in the middle of installing these on my e30. I had a set of older TreeHouseRacing LCBs which with the e30 control arm and e36 knuckle set the axle closer to the rear of the wheel arch.
Last night I swapped out to the to SRS LCBs and the result moved the axle forward in the wheel arch (1/2 to 3/4"). Now the well looks more centered and it has given me more room when I turn the wheel between the tire and fender.
I am still in the set up stage, more to come as I complete my build.
On first inspection, I am impressed with the fit and finish of these LCBs
