#&!@* bought wrong valance?

Oooops! Insert foot into mouth! I am just learning these things myself and I did not mean to offend anyone-I would have thought the "factory" mounts would be solid from BMW - what a rip. Are the ones in my photo OK, or how do I tell?

Do any of you guys know also...can this sports air dam be combined with an upgrade to plastic bumpers- would they still fit and slide in, or are you limited to aluminum bumpers using this airdam?

Yes they are fine as long as they are not cracked/broken.
If they are still all one part then they are a-ok!

BMW doesnt sell them, and there is currently no replacement alternative.

Yes, it can be made to fit with a plastic bumper. It looks a bit odd, but can be done.
